The New Moment
August 6, 2025  |  Mark Kuznicki

The World has Changed. You've Changed. So Have We.

Today, we’re proud to re-introduce The Moment. A refreshed website. A sharper focus. And three core offers built for the complexity of now.

You don’t need more noise. You need momentum.
You need clarity when the path ahead is uncertain, and a partner you can trust when the stakes are high.

At The Moment, we’ve always believed that design is a lever for meaningful change—in services, systems and society. But as the world around us shifts, so must we.

This is not just a new website.
It’s a reintroduction to how we’ve evolved and who we’ve become—and how we’re helping leaders and teams create change that matters.

The Problem: Progress is Getting Harder to Make

Many organizations are investing in service innovation and digital transformation.
Fewer are seeing the results they hoped for.

Why?

Because strategy often stalls at the whiteboard. Because systems are misaligned. Because people are burning out trying to make change happen within structures built to resist it.

We’ve seen these patterns.
We’ve helped clients move through them.
And we’ve evolved our practice to focus on what we do best.

The Three Legs of the Stool: Our Core Offers

We’ve distilled our work into three interconnected offers—each designed to address real-world challenges, and together forming a complete approach to impact.

Insight to Impact

Integrated service and digital product solutions that drive results.
When knowing isn’t the problem, but doing is—we help teams turn clarity into action. With a systems lens and deep design craft, we work side-by-side with clients to prototype and deliver solutions that work in the real world.

Social Challenges

Design that works when it matters most.
We can't 'move fast and break things' when someone's health and wellbeing are on the line and systemic barriers stand in the way. We design with people, not for them, honouring lived experience and bringing together diverse voices.

Design Impact

Design as a strategic lever for transformation.
Too often, design teams are stuck in execution. We help them scale their influence, align with the business, and lead from within. This isn’t about better workshops—it’s about real maturity.

A Quiet Evolution, Now Made Visible

Our new site reflects something we’ve been living for a while.

We added practice leading capabilities in digital product design (thanks to our partnership with Jordan Julien, Hostile Sheep) and integrated that with our leadership in service design and design research. We deepened our focus on systems thinking, strategic design, and impact. We have built upon our experience immersing ourselves inside complex organizational ecosystems, co-creating with communities, and supporting leaders navigating change with confidence.

Our clients and partners aren’t looking for slides—they’re looking for outcomes.
And we’ve evolved our practice accordingly.

What You'll Find on the New Site

  • Stories of transformation — not just what we did, but what it changed
  • Invitations to engage — book a chat, join a conversation or drop us a line
  • Thought leadership that informs and provokes — from systems design to strategic foresight

We’ve always believed that design is a practice of hope—a way of seeing possibility and building toward it. That’s what this site represents: a more confident, connected, and courageous version of The Moment.

What's Next? That's Up to You.
